MLB 2013 Opening Day

Hey guys, all warmed up going perfect in the Spring! 5-0 +5,330

Here we are Opening Day a brand new season full of hopes, dreams and new stories to be told. We'll see old and new faces, but the game will remain the same. Each respective teams will send their Aces to challenge the best bats in the world and however tempting it is to lay the money on those classic match ups, like Boston Yankees or LA SF, keep your money in your pocket for those game and enjoy the match up.

Los Angeles Angels at Cincinnati Reds
The Angels coming off very poor Cactus League, last in Arizona,  now taking the show on the road to face the Reds. Jered Weaver against Johnny Cueto. The line is pretty tight and many are not sold on the Angles, yet. Cincinnati also an expected contender, but they too lacked in Spring. The Angels holds value.

LOS ANGELES ANGELS +106 for 1 unit(W)
3-1 Angels in 13 innings

Got a 2nd play.

Seattle Mariners at Oakland A's
Got King Felix opening on the road against Brett Anderson. Looking for Seattle to threaten the West and always like Felix on the mound. Oakland may contend, but they're usually not that good in early season.

SEATTLE MARINERS -102 for 1 unit(W)
In case you guys didn't notice this line has moved towards Oakland, so let's add another unit.

SEATTLE MARINERS +110 for 1 unit(W)
2-0 Mariners !!!

MLB Thursday

5-0 +5,330
Seattle Mariners at Chicago Cubs
Heading out to Mesa, Arizona for the Cubs final Cactus game at Hohokam stadium. Very nice park with 13,000 plus capacity and the most popular stadium. Today visiting Seattle will send their #2 pitcher Iwakuma who is off to a excellent spring start. Chicago will go with Carols Villanueva who was at his best in last start. Carols in previous two seasons with Toronto logged outstanding Spring records, but he's struggled at home.. His last two home games, Texas and White Sox, took the loss. The Cubs have historically done well here at Hohokam, but they are still tinkering and late inning can be costly. Take the Seattle club looking to improve this season.

SEATTLE MARINERS +103 for 1 unit(W)
6-4 Mariners!

MLB Grapefruit League Tuesday

4-0 +4,300
Closing in on Spring Training camp.  The match up today is the day game in Lakeland, Fl. .where the Tigers will host the visiting Braves.

Atlanta Braves at Detroit Tigers
High expectations for this Detroit team. They have the power line up, good rotation and if they can get off to a fast start, unlike last season, the Tigers can run away with the Central.  On the other side the Atlanta Braves, a team you don't underestimate, quietly surging in Grapefruit League.  The projection for this game is for the Braves to edge the Tigers. Atlanta will take their regular line up today whereas Detroit will continue to look at pitchers. Jim Leyland still making adjustments before the opener testing his player against  pretty much full strength Atlanta team.

ATLANTA BRAVES at +101 for 1 unit(W)
6-5 Bravos

Spring Training Camp Monday

3-0 +3,290
It's been a busy spring with WBC clashing with preparation of MLB. I can't remember who said it, but I agree with the guy who said, "WBC has it's heart in the right place, but it's not the right time of the year." and there's really no slot of time available in a year to actually get the best of the World to play this game in their peak performance. There's a feel of a "side show" which it shouldn't be and it leaves you wondering what if the World's best took the field?

Back in Florida the Detroit Tigers will travel to Space Coast Stadium in Viera for a rematch with the Nationals. The starting pitchers looks like a pretty good card, but don't let it fool you. This game like yesterday will take a look a number of comers unknown to most. The biggest concern will come from the fresh arms. Both of these teams put up crooked numbers yesterday. The Tigers with split squad games happening in Lakeland makes this visiting squad somewhat limited, but diluted Tigers on the road can still pull this one out. This is Spring Training prospects countdown and the regulars will start taking over going forward.

DETROIT TIGERS +104 for 1 unit(W)
5-1 Tigers

MLB Grapefruit League Wednesday

2-0 +2250
Got another spring training game. WBC under way and it's causing some changes to MLB match ups. Basically Toronto is giving bunch of guys a day off and Tigers should have a field day.

DETROIT TIGERS RL -1.5 at +115 for 1 unit(W)
4-1 Tigers

Cactus League Friday Baseball

1-0 +1100
SF Giants at Oakland A's
Phoenix municipal stadium afternoon game  where the A's will send Jarrod Parker, last year's young gun, for his first spring mound. Visiting Giants will send their proven star Bumgarner, but keep in mind it's the latter half of the game which decides the spring outcome. There are number of variables that changes through the course of camp and seems the Giants are already set on having the rotation work on pitch count which allowed Volgelsong to go 3 innings may have Madison go similar distance. Still it's way too early to take on a pitching angle so we'll tread carefully and take SF on 1-2-3 in spring. Could of taken those 3 tie games. Oakland usually is a slow starting team so for the first take on 2013.

S.F. Giants +110 for 1 unit(W)
Always nice to get a winner out of the gate.
