MLB Thursday

We are looking at an old angle which is purely statistical in nature, but the match up is not bad either.

Los Angeles Dodgers at New York Mets
If you have been tracking this series you know the Mets have been dismal with runners on bases. Despite their hitting advantage New York has dropped first two of three and now they face Zack Grenike looking to be the first 8 game winning pitcher. Zack is one of the games elites and runs will come at a premium. He is coming off a dominant start in Arizona going 8 inning scattering 5 hits and no runs, but considering his quality games drops to 40% on the road this would be a spot to going against him. Jon Niese taking the ball for New York may not rank in the elites, but he is pitching quality games. Coming off his first non quality start in 8 consecutive games this is a bounce back spot for Niese. Dodgers weak defense has been masked so far. As for the old angle, this is a game with 75% public laying money with the Dodgers. That is a FADE. Qualifies with home dog against a sweep with quality pitcher on the mound. Keep your eyes on the money ranking the Mets are #14 and the Dodgers are #21.

NEW YORK METS +141 for 1 unit(W)
