MLB Wednesday

New York Mets at Miami Marlins
Miami's pitching has been impressive with 7 straight games with 3 runs or less, 5 out of 7 with 2 runs or less and they are winning games. Again they come underrated at homes, but Mat Latos is getting little backing. His team got a win last time out and he has been improving, I still don't trust Latos, not today following a quality start and not at home. We're going to back old man Bart Colon making another strong run. The Mets are 5-1 head to head so far.

MLB Sunday

Minnesota Twins at Seattle Mariners
The Twins have a situation on  the road today. At Safeco Field things are not all right. The Mariners have lagged to 7-10 record, subpar 5-6 at home and are in danger of losing this series to Minnesota. While the Twins send Kyle Gibson in a bounce back spot and Kyle has pitched well in similar situation, Seattle has a spot start with Roenis Elias and I don't see distance today. In money comparison Twins backers have the winning edge. We'll look to steal this one.

MLB Saturday

Cleveland Indians at Detroit Tigers
Trevor Bauer pitching at his best and the Indians will try to go up on this series, but Bauer is a last minute scratch. We take action for this game as the line will surely move. Alfredo Simon will try to stop the bleeding in this afternoon match. The Tigers were pummeled yesterday, but Simon should fare better. The Tigers does have hitting edge and they own the day game.

MLB Wednesday

Got moosed last night. It happens, you lose some, but got to win more. You have to dust yourself off and keep fighting. Victory loves perpetration. Enough pep talk moving on to Twin City.

Kansas City Royals at Minnesota Twins
Kyle Gibson is in a spot to improve, but KC going with Edinson Volquez best WHIP&ERA in the rotation. We'll back KC on the road.

MLB Tuesday

We split on last picks.

Seattle Mariners at LA Dodgers
On the inter league game at Dodger Stadium and I might go see this one. L.A. called up David Huff from Oklahoma City triple A and he performed well in spring. Dodgers offense is surging and Huff could keep this one close, but Hisashi Iwakuma is likely to improve in his second go around. Iwakuma is the battle tested pitcher able to dominate. You know the public loves the Dodgers, but that's not how it reflects on the board.

MLB Sunday

Seattle Mariners at Oakland Athletics
The A's jumped out of the gate and recorded three shutouts out of first six games.  A's starters have recorded 1 or fewer runs in 4 of the first 6 games. Today Oakland will go with Jesse Hahn acquired from San Diego. He has a winning record from last season and seems to be a good fit for the A's rotation. He has the arsenal to strike out batters and though he' had a slow spring he can hold his own against any team. Seattle on this rubber match will send King Felix who has dominated this series. I think the runs will be hard to come tonight. We're going to roll with the Mariners and game going Under.

MLB Saturday

Toronto Blue Jays at Baltimore Orioles
The Jays will send their top prospect Aaron Sanchez. He's been successful in limited appearance out of the pen. His start comes with Totonto swinging hot bats and facing Ubaldo Jimenez looking to bounce back from last year. The game today is a division match up with O's coming off a loss at Camden Yards. The situational play here is Baltimore as a short favorite. They have been excellent in bounce back spor after allowing 10 runs or more facing right hand pitching. We're going with the O's to figure out Sanches who does not have enough mix to keep Baltimore line up off the bases. Let's get this one at home.

MLB Friday

Washington Nationals at Philadelphia Phillies
Today we're looking to fade Jerome Williams on the mound for the Phillies. Going on a simple notion of Gonzalez too much against Philadelphia. Jerome has struggled in the Spring and will not ease at the Citizens Ballpark wind blowing out to the right field. Weather condition will calm as the game progresses, but enough to rattle the Big Hawaiian.

Texas Rangers at Oakland A's
We're back at the Bay. The Rangers sending Nick Martinez and there are upside here after 0-2 start, but Graveman on fast learning track is our choice. Looking for early lead today.

MLB Wednesday

L.A. Angels at Seattle Mariners
I like Matt Shoemake, I think he will give enough for the Angels. Home team Seattle will send Iwakuma who will be short leash with a nagging blister preventing his good split finger. Going with the Angels.

MLB Monday

Ok it's second day. We will be playing the game in Phoenix.

The Giants take the road opener with Madison Bumgarner, but the pen almost gave it back in the 8th. The D-Backs showed some fight and they will have the better pitcher on the mound tonight with Rubby De La Rosa. He comes to Arizona from Cincinnati Reds and if he commands his stuff the Giants will be in for some nasty pitches. For the Giants Ryan Vogelsong taking Jake Peavy's spot and he's no number 2 starter, a weak link for game 2. That's how we're rolling.

MLB Open Sunday

St Louis Cardinals at Chicago Cubs
Welcome to 2015 season opener at theNorth side of Chicago. We have St Louis Cardinals visiting the Cubs with Adam Wainwright and the Cubs will go with Jon Lester. Here we have two proven veterans with slow spring start. Both teams will not extend their starters today and today's low number at Wrigley looks weak.

MLB Bay Bridge game Friday

We're taking this game up North.

Oakland A's at S.F. Giants
Big Matt Cain stepping on the mound and the Giants really need Cain to come through, but the truth is he's only gone 7 inning in 3 games and needs bit more to get into season form. On the other side Oakland sending Kendal Graveman. He came from Toronto system and pitched for Mississippi State. He is a ground ball pitcher with good command winning a spot in Oakland's rotation. His power sinker in low 90's, slider, change and good cutter. We like this kid with baseball smarts, he's excelled at every stage of his professional game. With 21 inning of work he's 0.42 ERA and microscopic WHIP so far. Yeah, we think he'll baffle them Giants.

MLB Freeway Game Thursday

Hey Players we got a game at Anaheim with the Dodgers and the Angels. It'll be Matt Shoemaker's last tune up and the Dodgers will test their relief corp which was their weakness last season. I like the Angels with Shoemaker already in good shape from his last two starts. His WHIP around 1.07 with 12 inning of work. He's on the mound at the Big A and will be a man on a mission against good Dodgers line up. The Dodgers are taking this  games with more of Spring training mentality than the Angels. It's Zack Greinke's  spot, but Mattingly's not ready. I'll back Scioscia who looks to simulate a regular game.

MLB 2015

Players! We are near starting and teams are making their final tune up. We passed on Spring Training games, but we're watching them like hawks. Right now the teams on top of odds are L.A. Dodgers, Washington Nationals, Detroit Tigers, Los Angeles Angels, Baltimore Orioles, Chicago Cubs, Maybe the last two doesn't belong as 14-1 odds. Out of this group Nationals looks strong, but we prefer the second tier group with Seattle at 15-1, St Louis Cardinals at 18-1, third tier teams Oakland A's at 26-1 and Mets at 30-1.

In the NL East the Nationals are overwhelming favorite. The numbers will show bias holding value to go against them on situation plays. Met's at preseason stage looks like a good underdog play, keeps your eyes on this team.

Similarly N.L. West has L.A. Dodgers as the favorite and they will also be a good team to go against. S.F. Giants has dropped down in odds significantly and they will be a team to watch, but the other teams, San Diego, Arizona and Colorado will come into choice plays. We like the Padres out of the three.

We'll catch up with the rest. Keep your eyes on the money ball.
