MLB Monday

San Diego Padres at Los Angeles Angels
Tyson Ross has not faced the Angels since 2012, but he is pitching well in the month of May. Comes into this game with three quality starts in last four. He took a hard luck loss and should decline here. Jered Weaver has been improving. After pitching 7 innings in 4 hit 3 run winner he looks to improve against this San Diego line up back in Anahiem. We're laying it with the Angels.

MLB Friday

We're going to track the money team today.

Houston Astros at Detroit Tigers
We go to Comerica Park for the second game of four game series. Detroit Tigers sending  Alfredo Simon with 5 quality starts out of 8 and solid 3 for 3 quality starts at Comerica. Houston Astros going with Collin McHugh, he too is 5 out of 8 quality starts and solid on the road. Something's going to give. We take the money team Houston, best road team in the Majors. Detroit is the second best road team, but not as tough at Comerica.  The Tigers offense is hitting, but not cashing in on too many games. We're going to back the Astros

MLB Saturday

New York Yankees at Kansas City Royals
Since CC Sabathia last started at Tampa Bay for Yankees win NY has dropped 4 in a row. CC's game got 11 run eruption from the Bombers, but the other 4 has been silenced. The Yanks have also given up 25 runs in that span. On the home front we have lefty, Danny Duffy 2-2 with 5.67 ERA, lasting less than 5 innings in two games combined. He's not pitching to his expected level and probably will improve, but the Yankees have hit him.  Let's look for the Bombers bats to return as Sabathia will give up his share.

MLB Wednesday

Washington Nationals at Arizona Diamondbacks
It's going to be a hot one in Phoenix today. There will be few clouds, little breeze and hot air, the ball will carry. The 8.5 Total is -125 or there about seems to be popular and so are the Nats. Maybe it's Jeremy Hellickson with 5.84 ERA and D-Backs losing 5 out of 6 Hellickson starts or maybe it's Gio Gonzalez being the top money starter for Washington and the Nationals own the Diamondbacks 7-2 in two seasons, 11-4 in three. Not a big fan of front runners, but Washington to take this game.

MLB Monday

KC Royals at Texas Rangers
The Royals sending Duffy, he was roughed up last time against Cleveland, and can't count on him to go deep, but he is in a bounce back spot. Colby Lewis for Texas is coming off his best start this season, but has ways to go and the Rangers at home is dismal. Go with the Royals.

MLB Friday

Chicago Cubs at Milwaukee Brewers
We have a reverse money line and Brew crew is on a roll with a good home pitcher, Jimmy Nelson. There is a bit of celebration in Milwaukee. Jason Hammel is good, but has stumbled on the road. Even with all that you got to go with the original line. Milwaukee still can lose with anyone and they have failed in situational spot and we like the Cubs.

MLB Thursday

Baltimore Orioles at New York Yankees
N.Y. will continue to play their division rivals welcoming the O's to Bronx. The Yanks at 17-11 are on top of the food chain. They are winning against the east at 57% clip. Nathan Eovaldi is holding steady 2-0 record. Baltimore is at the back of the pack playing below .400 and they struggle on the road at 4-8. Chris Tillman is having issues. The Yankees get the consensus play, but N.Y. coming off series loss at Toronto showing little weakness in return to Bronx. Tillman in a bounce back spot looks to keep it close. The Yanks might blink here. We're going with low tier team to take the top tier team.

MLB Wednesday

Cincinnati Reds at Pittsburgh Pirates
This is a NL Central game with No#3 Reds putting some pressure on No# Bucks and they are doing a good job. There is a lot to like the Pirates as they will hold back no punches here and Cole is a winner. The opposing Reds will also send a good pitcher in Mike Leake. He is better on the road with 0.70 WHIP. We like the pitching match up today. Let's see how they'll face off.

MLB Tuesday

Making up for the rain out.

Tampa Rays at Boston Red Sox
Boston is reeling and will send Rick Porcello for another stop. Porcello excelled against Toronto, but last time he pitched like that he followed up with 12 hits 8 runs shelling at Baltimore. Drew Smyly got a late start with shoulder issue.  He stretching out and should be ready to go the distance. We'll take the road dog.

MLB Monday

Hey gang. We're taking the game at Coors Field with thunder storm in the air wind direction is coming in toward left. It'll be tough to take it out right to center.

Arizona Diamondbacks at Colorado Rockies
Both teams come in with losing record, the snakes with 3 losses in a row and Rox with 5 in a row. The Rockies will send their best money pitcher Tyler Matzek and though that sounds encouraging he has only 1 quality start and Colorado has split 1-1 on his home start. Arizona has Rockies number and  Josh Collmenter has better showing on the road. Take the road dog.

MLB Saturday

L.A. Angels at S.F. Giants
It was a close one last night with L.A. coming out on the short end. The Champs showing some fight and today the pitchers will match skill against wisdom. I'm intrigued by Santiago opposing Hudson. I was originally swayed by Hudson's staying ability, but he is in a spot to decline. His home starts are not good and WHIP is nowhere close to Angel's Santiago. The Angels are excellent in iner-league games. We'll take the road dog.
