MLB Sunday

8-9 +590

Los Angeles Dodgers at San Francisco Giants
Despite the different direction these two teams are heading, Giants rolling 5 wins straight and Dodgers falling 4 losses out of last 5, these two teams are very well matched. Comparing data of past 275 match ups the West Coast rivals are separated by only 3 games. The Giants are slight favorites at home, as they should be at home, but today's pitching makes this game tight.  The L.A. rookie Hyun Jin Ryu is a phenom from Korea. The stand out stat is his strike outs, he is mowing them down, walking few and holding down the long ball. This kid can pitch. S.F. going with battle tested veteran Matt Cain, who has been solid as a rock in the past, is playing shaky baseball. Not known as a slow starter, but he is not getting the job done. Maybe a April thing that will past or maybe a regressing season, too early to tell, but he is not shutting the opponents down.  Even though it's Cain pitching at home the Dodgers looks to have the arm advantage.

LOS ANGELES DODGERS +126 for 1 unit(L)
