We are all knotted up at 1-1, but despite all the San Diego euphoria and home field we like the Dodgers. The elusive LA post season and the Padres are well put together for the late run. You know Petco park will be rocking, but there will be an army of LA fans invading enemy territory to the south. We have the top road team in baseball taking a short commute. The line has moved in favor of LA and I would lay it. San Diego 1-5 following a win, 2-10 divisional playoff games, 2-5 playoff home games and LA is feeling comfortable at Petco going 4-1

LA Angels at Cleveland Guardians

We did pull the trigger on this game early and the line has moved, but we'll still recommend it for now. We see it on downward projection on the Total.  The match will feature two lefties, Reid Detmerrs for the Angels and Konnor Pilkington for the Guardians. LA trends heavily Under at 10-3-1 in game 1 of series, 18-6-2 against AL Central and 3-0-1 on the road against lefties. Cleveland is Under 22-7-1 with Total set at 7 to 8.5, 7-1 in home games, 5-0 against lefties and 16-4-1 following a win.

Greeting players. We have the White Sox playing .500 ball and they are in a tight one fighting for AL Central. There's Chicago money backing the Seattle "let down" They'll send Lance Lynn who is coming off a excellent game winner against KC. However his road game has much to be desired and he will be facing one of the hottest team in baseball. Seattle's Marco Gonzales is coming on strong. Home field is where he performs. The Mariners on a roll since June 19th 47-19, that's rolling money. Overall 3rd highest money team in baseball. The White Sox 1-5 in game 1 of series, 2-6 road games, 2-7 on the road with current Total,  The Mariners are 7-0 in game 1 of series, 14-3 against AL Central, 9-3 against right hand starters, 19-7 when scoring 5 runs or more in previous game.

Seattle Mariners at Cleveland Guardians

The Seattle Mariners are seemingly firing on all cylinders. For this road game against the Cleveland Guardians the Mariners will send Luis Castillo. He is In a good spot to take this game.  Cleveland will send right handed pitcher Zach Plesac. He is 3-11 with a 4.39 ERA he is coming off of a gem beating the Mariners on August 27th. That’s going to unlikely tonight and I think he’ll regress.  Seattle 25-9 on the road, 6-2 against righty, 14-6 when opponent scored 2 runs or less in previous game. Cleveland 2-5, 1-4 at current Total and dropped 4 out of 5 in match up.

Got the Covid with mild symptoms. I'm isolated and keeping others safe, maybe even make some money.

So we'll check out the battle of the fish in Florida, take it easy and have a margarita. Tampa has Shane MaClanahan throwing from the left. He's 11-5 with 2.20 ERA.  We like Shane, but not so much on the road.  Miami's sending Jesus Lazardo who is pitching without run support. He's having his best month and kept his team in striking distance every August start. We're looking for pitching today and that's how we're playing.

 Arizona \Diamondbacks at Kansas City Royals

Who do you like on Wednesday Baseball? We like  Zac Gallen pitching for the D-Backs. He's one bad pitcher with all indicators strengthening. Even if he regressed from his last performance this is going to be a difficult day for the Royals line up. Brady Singer is also holding his own. He held Tampa to 2 runs and the Rays did not get to him until the 6th inning. Beat the NL West leading Dodgers before that, gave up nothing. Both teams are losing, but Kansas with tendencies to lose in interleague at 2-7 in last 9, 2-8 in home interleague, 2-9 against NL West, 1-4 against good pitching and 1-4 against losing teams. Arizona 9-3 head to head match in Kansas City and 4-0 in last 4 meetings. Let/s back the Diamondbacks.

 Atlanta Braves at Pittsburgh Pirates

We're on the game at PNC. The Braves look poised to roll with Max Fried, 11-4 overall and 5-1 on the road. Atlanta has gone 8-2 in last 10. The Pirates JT Brubaker just looks out matched. He did spin a gem against Boston in his last start, but I expect a decline.

Welcome to our Monday selection with Luis Cessa starting for the Reds and home team sending Noah Syndergaard. 

Looking for a bit of small ball today with the Reds going with platoon pitching and Syndergaard on back to back Cincinnati duty. Maybe little slippery today and that may add to our advantage. The Reds trending Over 4-1 overall, 4-0 on the road. Philadelphia Over 4-2 overall and looking for back step from Noah here.

 LA Dodgers at Milwaukee Brewers

Thursday baseball is alright in the day light. We have good pitchers going on the mound, but good pitcher does not always equate to low score. Andrew Heaney has been successful, but he’s not going to eat up innings and could have rough patches. The Dodgers offense usually takes care of business in Heaney starts. Milwaukee’s Corbin Burnes comes with 1.65 ERA 0.92 WHIP no doubt he’s got game. However he does look to regress and will face very dangerous LA line up. The Dodgers are Over 4-0 after allowing 2 runs or less, 5-1 following a win, 5-2 overall. Milwaukee 6-0 after allowing 2runs or less, 5-2 against NL West, 7-3 in game 4 of series and 6-2 head to head. Love the deep corners at Miller Park.

 Cleveland Guardians at Toronto Blue Jays

MLB under the sun, maybe in a dome, but that's okay it's mid summer baseball and it's all good.  We look for a brand of games that has our kind of edge. The Jays have Kevin Gausman on the mound with 2.91 ERA coming off a excellent game away at Tampa back in August 2nd logging 8 innings of 1 hit game throwing 103 pitches and August 7 in Minnesota 6 innings of no run game. It was a bounce from his other recent performance and we do expect regression. Gausman 5-3 away with 1.83 ERA , but 3-5 at home with 4.19 ERA. Top that with little run support on Gausman starts will not help against rising Cleveland Guardians.  Cleveland sending Shane Bieber 7-6 with 3.21 ERA. He is on the rise and owns 1.09 WHIP, that number has shrank to incredible 0.80 in his last 3 games. Cleveland 6-1 in last 7. 5-1 after a loss, 5-1 against right hand pitchers. 8-2 after allowing 2 runs or less in previous game. Toronto 2-5 last 7. 2-5 following a win, 2-5 against winning teams. 4-9 with current Total at home.  Dev and I are backing Bieber and the Guardians on the Moneyline.

Coming off a very disappointing loss last night. We will take a stand on scoring to go Over the Total tonight. We got Clayton Kershaw scratched and Walker Buehler in which may not seem favorable to scoring, but he's showing signs of being a road pitcher and lttle forgiving at home.  Kyle Gibson for the Phillies have been trending Under, but unlikely to stay the distance. Tonight feels like a perfect day for a night game on a warm evening at the Ravine and Philadelphia on 4-1 Over run on this road trip. The Dodgers are on the top of Over / Under record so far. This year is unfolding as Under trending MLB season. I feel the metrics will adjust and retrack to a stable level. We are backing the Over. *The nuber has moved up from 7.5 to 8 we still advise it.
