Toronto Blue Jays at Atlanta Braves
You know everyone loves the Braves they were on terror just few days ago then they got stunned by the Mets and lose 2 out of 3 to Toronto? It could of been 3 to the Jays if not for the extra inning heroics to win it 7-6, but it doesn't look like the Braves that won eight games in a row.   The Braves have dominated the Jays all 2012 and they even give RA Dickey trouble. Making this game anything less than a split at Turner unacceptable.  However Toronto, the expected contender, is slowly  making progress. Their last 10 games has resulted in 6 wins and 3 out of that 4 losses has come by 1 run. RA Dickey was hit in Turner Field last season, but his best stretch ran from late May to all of June and Jay are swing the bats again the improbable becomes probable. Toronto 4-1 against National League.

Colorado Rockies at Houston Astros
The Mets worked out nicely and again we will take the 75 / 25 angle.  The public is heavy on Colorado in today's day time match up at Minute Maid. The Rockies will send Jorge De La Rosa and he is pitching very well. Rockies have rolled 4 winners behind De La Rosa and he is perfect under the Sun 3-0 with 0.49 ERA and 0.93 WHIP. The Rockies are good size road favorites and Houston is reeling 9-20 at home. Colorado is trying to get back on track, but the road has not been kind. They blew the first game of the series yesterday and there's no way the Rox will lose two to the Astros, which is the mind set of public perception and Astros Jordan Lyles has played the live dog, his wins have come at +190, +154, +226, +192 and he's coming off a quality start against KC making two good starts in a row. More so than the pitching angle today the play is to fade the public team. That's a play on Houston Astros.

MLB Sunday

12-13 +270

Baseball on Sunday is Americana as it gets. You know back in the days the Sunday crowd coming from morning service was the best dressed crowd attending team sports. These games captivated the audience making baseball American as apple pie and jazz. Times have changed, but the game remains the same and we'll be on our Sunday best to knock these games down.

Atlanta Braves at New York Mets
Got a heavy public game with wagers going over 75% to Atlanta with Julio Teheran. He pitched a shutout into the 9th inning throwing 123 pitches. Atlanta rolling 8 straight games and just about everybody is on the bandwagon. That wagon's looking mighty heavy right about now.  The Mets get no respect and sure they have a losing record at home. They just dropped 5 in a row and only 3 wins out of last 10.  However Shaun Marcum is progressing and two sweeps in a row is a tough one to swallow even for the lowly Mets.  Let's fade the public tonight and take the home dog on this match up.

NY Yankees at Baltimore Orioles
The battle of AL East is always is a tough road to take. In this match up we have Yankees slowly recovering and showing winning record away from Bronx.  Orioles on the other hand is declining and their record has sank below .500 at home.  Taking the ball for the Birds will be Jason Hammel, he is sporting winning record, but has been hit and the Over's have gone 6 straight. Jason got the win in N.Y. earlier however giving up 2 homers and 8 hits.  Yankees Hiroki Kuroda has been steady and solid.  Looking to add to Baltimore's slump.

NEW YORK YANKEES -116 for 1 unit(L)

St Louis Cardinals at San Diego Padres
Despite the pitchers lacking big league innings we know Burch Smith is a work in progress and St Louis is not going to help his case. The line is indicating a close game with Padres playing well at home, but again this is a tall order for the home dogs.  Going with visiting Cardinals and the left hander Tyler Lyons.

Coming off a nice L.A. win and looking at another road game.  Going to Citi Field in Flushing N.Y. for Cincinnati Reds visit the Mets.

Cincinnati Reds at New York Mets
Mets coming off a single run loss will send Jon Niese for the second round.  Jon was the big underdog winner against St Louis. He will be looking for back to back quality start.  Mike Leake taking the ball for the Reds gave up no runs in his last start and earned his spot in the rotation.  He is pitching well and likely to go 6 innings or better, but more likely to go Over this low opening of 7, or 7.5,  with these two pitcher both coming off quality games yet they have been money on Over.  The line is wrong this game is worthy of 8.5 taking the Over with side  on Cincinnati to win back to back.

L.A.Dodgers at Milwaukee Brewers
This is a battle of slumping teams, but one thing the Dodgers have going today is the Brewer killer Clayton Kershaw and I'm not expecting much opposition from Yovani Gallardo.  He plays better at home ,but showing control issues? Dodgers as a small favorite.

Hey fellas, getting some turbulence so get your seatbelts on.

Los Angeles Angels at Chicago White Sox
Sunday night baseball coming at you from the south side of Chicago.  We have CJ Wilson going for the Angels and the Sox will counter  with Chris Sale.  Angels overall are 5-5 in last 10 games but, have strung 3 in a row including 2-0 in this series against these Whie Sox.  The Sox overall are 3 out of last 10 not having won since the Texas series back in 4/30 to 5/02, although The Sox have not been swept since Washington did it in early April and that was on the road.  They have the pitcher they want in Sale, tough as nail at home with 1.06 WHIP.  The visiting Angels pitcher CJ Wilson has also been pitching quality, just coming off a 12 K game against Houston, however opposition is scoring and Angels are still lacking on the road.  Go with the White Sox with Sale on the mound.

Miami Marlins at L.A. Dodgers
Keeping this one short and sweet.  Going Under 7 at Dodgers stadium.  LA. is tanking, but still coming in asthe heavy favorites. It does seem like a goog spot for the home Blue however  the angle on the rising total looks better.  Tough scoring game on a good pitching night.

Los Angeles Dodgers at San Francisco Giants
Despite the different direction these two teams are heading, Giants rolling 5 wins straight and Dodgers falling 4 losses out of last 5, these two teams are very well matched. Comparing data of past 275 match ups the West Coast rivals are separated by only 3 games. The Giants are slight favorites at home, as they should be at home, but today's pitching makes this game tight.  The L.A. rookie Hyun Jin Ryu is a phenom from Korea. The stand out stat is his strike outs, he is mowing them down, walking few and holding down the long ball. This kid can pitch. S.F. going with battle tested veteran Matt Cain, who has been solid as a rock in the past, is playing shaky baseball. Not known as a slow starter, but he is not getting the job done. Maybe a April thing that will past or maybe a regressing season, too early to tell, but he is not shutting the opponents down.  Even though it's Cain pitching at home the Dodgers looks to have the arm advantage.

Minnesota Twins at Cleveland Indians
The Indians are rolling. Cleveland has won 4 straight scoring no less than 6 runs in offensive eruption.  They opened the KC 4 games series on the road 4/27 to 4/29, dropping the first 2 with Santana and Guthrie stopping the Indians in their track. Then it happened, 10 runs against triple A call up Smith (he gave up 6, pen gave up 4) and final game in that series against Davis, 9-0 Cleveland.  Moving back home to face Philadelphia's Doc Halladay , got to Doc for 8 runs in 14-2 lopsided win. Second game against Phillies Cliff Lee, knocked him around for 5 runs in 6-0 win. Next comes Twins with Kevin Correia getting the ball. Indians will go with Scott Kazmir, in lefty righty match up. Minnesota\s 5 game win streak seem long time ago, it was 4/15 to 4/23, now they are 3 out of last 9 and despite starting with 2-0 lead in the series opener Twins gave up 2 in the 3rd making it 2-2, than giving up the lead 2-4 in bottom of 5th, Twins got one more at the top of 6th to get within 1 run, but gave up 1 run at the bottom of same inning making it 3-5. The lead changes once again, 3 runs at top of the 7th knocking out Masterson 6-5.  Cleveland claws back taking 1 run at the bottom of 7th knotting it up 6-6. At this point the Twins had little left giving up that walk off double at the bottom of 9th. As that game unfolded you have to admit it's been the toughest win in Cleveland's 5 game win streak. Today's match up will put Cleveland's weak link in the rotation, Scott Kazmirt.  Scott has been struggling so far not going the distance and he's getting hit.  Kevin Correia on the other hand is pitching in mid season form leading the staff with 1.07 WHIP the veteran has been money. Taking Minnesota to steal one in Cleveland.

Cincinnati Reds at Chicago Cubs
The Reds are not well, yet, and they will visit Wrigley Field for day time matinee. The match up features Reds right handed Mike Leake. He is inducing grounders with pretty high grounders to fly ball ratio, but Mike was knocked out at Washington last time out. Leake should pitch better in Chicago as he pitched quality against the Cubs at home giving up 2 runs on 8 hits going 7 innings  Facing the Reds will be Carlos Villanueva the pride of Santiago. Carlos is throwing some nasty stuff however he is giving up the long ball. That's something to watch out for, but Carlos too is coming off a bad outing and likely to improve in this spot. Given scenario and the money line this should be pretty tight. Their recent matches, past 9 games, have all come within 2 runs  The line has swung both ways.  The Cubs on a roll. Chicago coming off 2 series win, against San Diego and Miami, looks to take revenge on the Reds. Cincinnati has lost their last two series, against St Louis and Washington, and their road game has been weak. However Mike Leake has been money against the Cubs and the Reds are playing better day games than the Cubs. Let's count on Villanueva to give up that long ball here and Chicago pen can collapse in any game. Going Reds.
