Cleveland Guardians at Houston Astros
Not giving Houston that much credit. Cleveland is looking strong and I think they will give Houston a game tonight. Looking for a let down after a Mexico city game.

Washington Nationals at Miami Marlins
When looking across the games of the day, you have to appreciate the combination of games, the matchups bring scenarios of risks and opportunities. The Braves, the Yankees, the Dodgers, the Guardians are not hard to spot, but it’s teams like Washington that everyone overlook. They came back from 7 runs deficit to beat the Marlins on Sunday. How about the Marlins, besides losing their opener against the Nats, the worst record in baseball they’ve won only twice at home. The Nationals are the third most profitable team in baseball and the Marlins are a team to be faded.

St Louis Cardinals at New York Mets
This match up was lined up much closer when it came out, but clearly it is the Mets taking the money. We agree that Mets are putting a better product on the field today. The Cardinals Lance Lynn is winning, but not out pitching other clubs. He is doing his job and keeping his team in the game, but we do not see an advantage over Mets, Jose Quintana. This game we would go with Mets on action.

Philadelphia Phillies at San Diego Padres
Good Saturday to you. We have the Phillies visiting San Diego where the Padres sport a losing record. Philadelphia is a San Diego nemesis with 60%-win rate. When the top money pitcher is going against San Diego, Ranger Suarez has 4 quality starts out of 5 and the Phillies have won all 5 games he's started. The Padres have a pretty good starter too in Dylan Cease, but it's the Phillies with momentum. We will take the Phillies at even money.

Welcome to my blog where we look at Major league Baseball games and bet on them. We have been doing it for a long time and would like to offer a word of advice for those interested in betting the game. If you are a fan of the game and enjoy it for what it is that is perfectly fine you keep on rooting for whatever team that facies you. But if you are considering opening an account or have an account and you are betting blind, meaning no substance to your wager other than a particular team you like. Maybe you're betting on a whim or chasing a loss. Whatever it is if you are losing money consider doing some homework to improve your game and gain discipline. Don't become a feeder to the Books. If you don't have the time, you are more than welcome to follow along or sign with a reputable service. Recreational betters that want to hang out at sports bars, have few dollars on a game and enjoy it with friends you see it as a cost of entertainment, that's okay too. We agree to be different. Just be aware of the pitfalls of gambling in whatever form. Many will fall down the abyss and that is a dark place we wouldn't wish on anyone.
We are playing the Zero-Sum game, and it starts with managing your funds. The average is 1% to5% game cap. Looking at an account with $1K the risk is $10 to $50; your unit play is $10. By maintaining the game cap your unit play will increase or decrease depending on the funds' performance. We also limit our daily games to 3 with 8% total game cap. You can see that we maintain measures to prevent catastrophic losses. The actual wagering process begins before the sports books release their lines by calculating your own lines, but this practice is fading out as computed lines have taken over. The lines maybe tweaked before release, but the sharps will set the tone and the lines will move accordingly. How do you choose the game? If you follow the sport, you will definitely see a pattern form and you can go through each game one by one with a filter to eliminate games without advantage. Narrow down the game with criteria and when you have. Most begging players will look at wins and losses, that's human nature, cross out the losers and go with the winners. That means you are playing favorites and laying more money to win less. This strategy will deplete your account as the upsets will be too costly in the long run. You need to have situational awareness and that is understanding the likelihood of an outcome based on set of conditions. The how's and why's would be a book in itself, but here I'd like to give insight into how the game is played by the handicappers and the sharps. The game is evolving with newer players playing in game and props more than ever. If you're. looking to dive in find your niche and see where your talent us
Chicago Cubs at Boston Red Sox
This game is billed as a pitching match up with Boston's Kutter Crawford, who has not given up a run at home and brings a 0.66 ERA. The visitors have the Japanese all star Shota Imanaga going, who has a 0.84 ERA. However the total for the game is at 8, not quite the pitcher duel type number, and Boston bull pen has issues. In our selection the Cubs are the better play. Boston is losing at home and Chicago comes to town with momentum. Go with Chicago.

LA Dodgers at Washington Nationals
The Dodgers have the high priced Japanese import taking the mound, Yoshinobu Yamamoto. We've seen him 5 times in LA blue and the Dodgers are 1-4. He has a record 4.50 ERA with 1.136 WHIP. That/s not elite level, but with the small sampling the big picture has yet to emerge. We are looking for improved Yamamoto today. Washington will go with Mackenzie Gore with couple of win under his belt and he's done it with good pitching. He is also in a spot to improve. The Total number has downward pressure shop around for this one.

New York Mets at SF Giants
Lace up it's a day game coming to you from Oracle Park. One of my favorite stadiums right by McCovey Cove. You know it's tradition to smoke weed by McCovey's statue. After that you will be in awe of the Cupid's Span the giant bowl and arrow sticking out of the ground. You'll get the munchies so head to the Ferry Building then you're ready. It's making me want to go see this game.
We have the Mets with Sean Manaea on the mound. Not quite a money pitcher at this point, but the Mets did beat the Dodgers on the road and Cincinatti on the road with Sean on the hill. Manaea is good enough to get the job done. On the other side we have Blake Snell who is dragging his backer, and he has been bad. Fade Snell and the Giants. The Mets to come o ut ahead.
NY Mets +110 for 1 unit (Blake Snell scratched)
Mets win easily, but we will stay true to the pitcher/s angle. No play.
The published posting has been amiss to start this season, but keep the faith people it's the nature of the game.
Philadelphia Phillies at Cincinnati Reds
Looking through the money metrics both teams are in the plus, the Reds slightly ahead, These two teams met in April 1 to 3rd series in Philadelphia with the Reds taking 2 out of 3. Cincy did that as an underdog throughout the series. But now that the teams are settling in Philadelphia looks to chase Atlanta for the East. Cincinnati sweeping the Angels in last series, but getting swept by the Mariners. Before that beating up the White Sox, but lost the series to the Brewers. That is not hanging in with the contenders. We also favor Philadelphia on the pitching with Ranger Suarez against Cincinnati's Hunter Greene. Suarez is on top of Phillies money pitcher with his team winning all 4 appearances. He's pitched 3 quality games in a row and shut out the Rockies in last start. He is a force on the mound. The Reds Greene is on the opposite side his team has yet to win when he takes the ball. He was rocked by the Brewers at home 2 starts ago and only pitched 4 innings at Seattle. We expect Philadelphia to return the early season loss and set the tone to start.

Baltimore Orioles at KC Royals
This is a line that's moved away from opening. We intend to take the original line as the guide to backing the O's. The Royals have made money for their backers and they are a team to consider in daily situation, However they are prone against AL East facing a team that feasts on AL Central so we do agree -140 opening ML. Taking the drop in price and laying this one.
Baltimore Orioles -130 for 1 unit(L)
San Diego Padres at Milwaukee Brewers
The Pads are riding a groove. They have been impressive underdogs, but as that perception swings to favorites the proposition becomes risky. Dylan Cease is pitching well, but so is Wade Miley. San Diego in expected situation are not a good value and they are not good to back after a win. The value here is with Milwaukee and that's what we are on.

Chicago Cubs at Arizona Diamondbacks
We're rolling with AZD tonight in the desert. Cubbies 7th game away and this spot will be hard to keep Arizona runs.

Miami Marlins at New York Yankees
The Yanks are hot our of the gate. We've got Marcus Stroman taking the ball and he's rolling with his team. Miami on the other side is already looking beat. Ryan Weathers will take the mound for the Fish. It looks lopsided and we will play the Run Line.
