 Cleveland Guardians at Toronto Blue Jays

MLB under the sun, maybe in a dome, but that's okay it's mid summer baseball and it's all good.  We look for a brand of games that has our kind of edge. The Jays have Kevin Gausman on the mound with 2.91 ERA coming off a excellent game away at Tampa back in August 2nd logging 8 innings of 1 hit game throwing 103 pitches and August 7 in Minnesota 6 innings of no run game. It was a bounce from his other recent performance and we do expect regression. Gausman 5-3 away with 1.83 ERA , but 3-5 at home with 4.19 ERA. Top that with little run support on Gausman starts will not help against rising Cleveland Guardians.  Cleveland sending Shane Bieber 7-6 with 3.21 ERA. He is on the rise and owns 1.09 WHIP, that number has shrank to incredible 0.80 in his last 3 games. Cleveland 6-1 in last 7. 5-1 after a loss, 5-1 against right hand pitchers. 8-2 after allowing 2 runs or less in previous game. Toronto 2-5 last 7. 2-5 following a win, 2-5 against winning teams. 4-9 with current Total at home.  Dev and I are backing Bieber and the Guardians on the Moneyline.

Philadelphia at Los Angeles Dodgers

Coming off a very disappointing loss last night. We will take a stand on scoring to go Over the Total tonight. We got Clayton Kershaw scratched and Walker Buehler in which may not seem favorable to scoring, but he's showing signs of being a road pitcher and lttle forgiving at home.  Kyle Gibson for the Phillies have been trending Under, but unlikely to stay the distance. Tonight feels like a perfect day for a night game on a warm evening at the Ravine and Philadelphia on 4-1 Over run on this road trip. The Dodgers are on the top of Over / Under record so far. This year is unfolding as Under trending MLB season. I feel the metrics will adjust and retrack to a stable level. We are backing the Over. *The nuber has moved up from 7.5 to 8 we still advise it.

The Dodgers coming home from a losing series to Pittsburgh that has put a slight dent. But beacause of Pittsburgh series today's moneyline againt Philadelphia gives us a decent line. The Dodgers will be ready to redeem themselves back on their home field. I think Zack Wheeler is in a spot to regress on the road. Tyler Anderson showing reliable stuff. Laying the money tonight.

The Cubs have their top money pitcher, Kyle Hendricks, on the mound. Chicago 8-2 away with Kyle pitching.  The Phillies have a opener pitcher in Cam Bedrosian, but not expected to go far.  Keep in mind Philadelphia blew it's chance to save the game Wednesday.  That's 32 blown saves.  Kyle 4-2 against the Phillies.

 Cincinnati Reds at Pittsburgh Pirates

On this game where the Reds are in charge of their own destiny and they are finding obsticles every step of their way. They lost last night against a team they've dominated 1 run shy of coming back behind 6 runs. They will get another shot tonight. The Reds are in line to redeem themselves tonight my thought goes out to the two young arms taking the mound.  Vladimir Gutierrez for the Reds, 9-6 with 104 innings. The kid with the spider tatoo on his neck will look to impress down the stretch. He had some rough spots, but recovered in Chicago and already beaten Pittsburgh. He plays better on the road. Cincinnati will send Mitch Keller 4-11 with 83 innings, coming off a loss against Detroit. He will look to improve tonight, but Cincinnati will knot this series.  The Reds 9-1 against losing teams, 13-5 after scoring 5 runs or more, The Pirates are 4-9 against winning teams, 2-5 after scoring 5 runs or more.

Looking at the slate I think the favorites are going to roll. This game is no different. Oakland failed to advance in standing and the line has been hesitent, but A's owns 22-8 advantage and the Royals are sending Jackson Kowar who's been getting blasted.  Lets back the Athletics to set this right.

The Subway series was a fantastic show and the Mets pulling the win last night was one of those edge of your seats kind of game. I think a lot of handicappers are anticipating the regression with these New York teams today.  When the spotlight is on and it's the final stretch St Louis is right in the mix.  We Like the Cards.

If you've looked this match up and checked on the line movement you might see that Total number has dropped from 9.5 to 8.5 and the books are holding too much on the Under side of the ledger. We did take the 9.5 Under in early line, but 8.5 Under is still very much playable. If the game was to go Over it should of done it last night. Now we have Under pitchers on the mound with weather condition making it difficult to hit it out.  We like the Under even with the drop. Jays Under 4-0 in last 4 games, 6-0 on the road. Yankees Under 6-1 in last 7 games, after a loss 4-1, at home against winning teams 12-3-1.

 Detroit Tigers at Pittsburgh Pirates

Taking the low road tonight with teams out of contention. These two teams played a back and forth game last night with Pittsburgh taking the final lead in the 7th. Entertaining for the fans, but 7th inning comeback is a rareity as much as the Pirates winning a interleague game at home.  Detroit has been hit with infections and trace contact protocal. The Books have adjusted making the Bucks a slight home favorites, but this is a comeback night for the Tigers. Detroit 12-4 last 16 when opponent scores 5 or more, 6-2 interleague, 8-3 away. Pirates are 6-14 in interleague home games, 12-26 against AL Central.

No doubt the Yanks are on the march for postseason, but there are pitching issues they need to deal with.  Andrew Heaney going on the mound 7-8 has struggled and facing a very motivated Red Sox team desperate to keep pace in the East.  Nick Pivetta is the better arm in this match up and coming off a shut out this will be a redemption game.

This game will feature two money pitchers with Freddy Peralta for the Brewers, they're 12-6 when Freddy on the mound. Chad Kuhl for the Pirates, they're 8-5, but 4-1 when Chad is pitching at home. Chad is also rolling Pittsburgh 5-2 in his last 7 starts. He hasn't had a bad game since June 12 when he gave up 6 runs. Oh that was to Milwaukee. Freddy's also lost to Pittsburgh on 4th of July. He also went against Kuhl way back in April and his team lost that one too. It seems like good pitching is not equating here and if that holds true in this game the play is Over. The Brewers are 4-0-1 on the road, 4-0-1 against NL Central. The Pirates are 6-0 against right hand starters, 5-1-1 last 7 overall, 4-0-1 following a loss, 5-0 Kuhl's last 5 against NL Central
