Los Angeles Dodgers at Toronto Blue Jays
Here's a game with two teams heading two different directions. L.A. is 21-5 over the last 26 games, 13-3 over last 16 road games. The Dodgers hit right hand pitching very well at 11-1 over last 12 road games. The Jays are 5-16 over last 21 games against teams with winning record, 3-7 over last 10 against pitchers with WHIP greater than 1.30 and 2-6 after scoring 5 or more. The Jays are 2-8 last 10 games. Todd Redmond going for the Jays have little over 16 innings of work and Toronto has 2 wins behind him. Todd kept the Jays in game against Baltimore with 4 innings of work. Expect Todd to extend his innings today, but I don't see Jays winning this one. The Dodgers sending Chris Capuano who is coming off a 6 innings no run game against Colorado. Chris is lacking in road quality starts, 2 out of 5, but his WHIP is an impressive 1.06 and he doesn't give up much runs. He also blanked the Yankees for 6 innings in his only other AL East match up.
Go with the Dodgers.
